Hulu has announced that the third season of its acclaimed Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez-led series “Only Murders in the Building” will get a double-episode premiere when it returns to the streaming service on August 8th. [Source: Collider]
University of Idaho Murders
Novelist James Patterson is teaming with investigative journalist Vicky Ward for a book and docuseries about the violent deaths of four students from the University of Idaho in November 2022.
The attack gained a rapid following online as internet sleuths on various platforms gathered to try and find the killer and his motive. Story Syndicate is in final negotiations to be the production partner with Skydance on the docuseries. [Source: Variety]
The CW’s President of Entertainment Brad Schwartz has confirmed that all The CW series in development from prior president Mark Pedowitz’s time have been given back to their respective studios who are “free to develop those and sell them anywhere”.
These include the live-action sequel series take on “The Powerpuff Girls,” the Arrowverse offshoot “Justice U,” a female-led “Zorro” series, and the Archie Comics-inspired “Jake Chang”. [Source: TV Line
Telltale Games has announced that Episode 1 of “The Expanse: A Telltale Series” will arrive on July 27th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC via Epic Games Store.
